Received estimate for replacement of a radiator and thermostat for around 1,400.00. I thought it was high, got another quote from Big 4 for half the price and told your service person about it, and he cut the price in half.
I like to think I can trust your stores to be fair and competitive, which by your actions shows that you are not fair at all.

I had to file a claim with Monro customer service. Not only are they hard to understand, they act like they do not know what they are doing.
I have sent numerous emails and made calls, and they act like they know nothing about my claim. I have asked to speak with a supervisor, and they are just as bad. I finally spoke with someone regarding my claim; they approved reimbursement.
However, I asked for an email stating they are covering for the full amount for my records, and I have yet to get anything, and that has been a week! Are they scammers?

I brought in new tires to be mounted on my trucks wheels. When they tried to remove the first tire from wheel to install the new tire significantly marring and scratching occurred on the wheel.
Immediately after the damage occurred they said they could not work on my tires/wheels.
If that were the case they should have told me prior to beginning work that they could not work on Silverado 2500 wheels rather than start, cause damage then give up. They instructed me to contact corporate but as of now have been unable to make contact with a person to discuss my issue.
Since they said I would pay after completion they provided me with no paperwork other than my appointment booking.

The "coupon" for an oil change only includes the oil not the filter which is essential in changing the oil. The "coupon" states that it is $39.99 but in actuality it is $50 which I would appreciate more if the company was up front about the price.
When a company sells a product it speaks volumes on the method they choose to sell it from.
This company uses deception which tells us that being honest isnt something they value. It also says "we don't believe in ourselves enough to ask for $50 to change your oil".

I was told I would be refunded the cost to destroy the ruined key locks with 5 business days after submitting receipt from the dealer. We are now 7 business days in and once again, no calls or emails are returned.
I paid almost $600 out of pocket to fix Monroe's admitted error.
Now no one will call back. I will be visiting store daily to try to have regional or corporate return calls and pay yo finally end this nightmare!
We have not been able to remove now in over a month with several trips to your location and other facilities. We have visited the BMW dealer and the only option now is to destroy the bolts at the cost of over $600. If they find that there is damage in the hub, the cost will increase by overva thousand to repair! Your Wayne location is a hot mess.
The manager we were dealing with no longerveorks there and we cannot get access to a regional manager. I have needed to replace my brakes and control arm on this vehicle for over a month now but because of your facility error, this is impossible.
If I get a flat tire...I cannot repair! No one will help!

On March 16, 2024, I brought my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee to the Monro location at 173 Dolson Avenue due to a flat tire. After they repaired the flat, I noticed the vehicle shaking on my way home.
When I called them the next day to address the issue, they evaded responsibility by claiming busyness. However, when I inquired about whether they had balanced the tire after the repair, they admitted they hadn't. Any competent mechanic should understand the necessity of rebalancing or checking the balance after such a repair, which they failed to do. This negligence led to severe imbalance, despite the fact that the alignment and balancing had been done during my tire service in November.
Fast forward to April 6, my car broke down while I was en route from the Hudson Valley to NYC under normal driving conditions. The car began rumbling and shaking when I applied the brakes. I safely exited the highway and had the vehicle towed to Slatch Auto Repair at 32-10 37th Avenue, Queens, NY 11101. The technicians there informed me that the bolt holding the caliper in place was missing and had fallen off.
This caused the caliper to dislodge and scrape against the rim, resulting in damage to my brand new tires. The only individuals who had interacted with that tire were the Monro mechanics. They further explained that driving with the imbalanced tire likely exacerbated the situation, ultimately leading to this costly and dangerous outcome. I'm seeking compensation because their actions led to repair expenses and a rental.
Additionally, there was the looming threat of a potentially severe incident while driving. Though I managed to control the car after the bolt fell off because of my cautious speed, the situation could easily have resulted in an accident or worse.
Chalking this up to regular maintenance when clearly it was not, is absurd, take responsibility. I have notified the NYS DMV complaints unit, as well as the attorney general, and Orange County Consumer Affairs.

I ended up going in there to get a arm and ball joint replacement along with spark plugs once the vehicle was drove out and I drove the vehicle the brakes or whatever they put back on rotors whatever they had to do are now grinding so I took it back they didn't answer me when I said what was wrong no I commute from Wisconsin to Chicago for work along with I work in Wisconsin also but not very much

Seven weeks and still no refund
I was told that my Ford Focus would need a complete tune up and brake job. I paid $973.
I received a call from the manager the next day informing me that the situation was much worse than originally thought and that my car could not be repaired.
I was told my $973 would be refunded to me by check. It's been seven weeks and still no refund while my cat continues to sit on the store's lot.

I was quoted a repair time of 4-5 hours for an emergency brake repair and new tires. They've had my car for nearly 2 entire days.
They don't call to provide updates. They didn't notify me that they'd keep my car overnight. Whenever I call, they inform me that it's not ready and that they're doing what they can.
No apology, nothing. I'm just hoping at this point that I'll have my car back so I can go to work on Monday.

Did not do what I was charged for
I was charged 45$ to have a tire changed on the rim then put on the back and the back on the front. They never changed the damn tire and they said they couldn't robe the lugs from one of the tires but a miracle happened when my friend removed the tire with a hart drill with a 20v battery...come on from walmart.are you shittin me? It was near impossible to reach customer service but I must say the lady in customer was great

If I had the ability of giving it a no star rating I would have. So August 19th 2022 I went to Monro in Stoughton Ma store #1317 to have my car August state inspection.
Five mins later the guy comes in and told me I had to fail your car I immediately asked him why he proceeded to said that both lower ball joints are no good . I told him impossible because both ball joint were replaced with a good reputation shop not even a month ago. When confronted with this he now said than maybe is something on top, right there I new this guy is trying to pull a scam on me.
I told him give me my keys and paperwork left this shop and drove to a different town to a different inspection station where my car passed with no problems. I have submitted several complaints with DMV about what this individual and business is doing to customers and lying about your car having issues just to make there wallets fat when there is none.

Was charged for a wheel alignment and they never did it ,totally unprofessional

My car was taken in to get complete service including new tires my first complaint was my oil light came on and I had oil changed they didnt rest it nor put stickers in window tune up done only replaced plugs and I had brakes done
Rotors and they suggest I needed 3 tires instead I got 4 and not know to me they put cheap tires thats not recommended for my car
And now it rides like truck ruff hitting every bump and I thought strutts was going but not its the tires they put on took car back for inspection 2weeks later and no inspection done he knew it was the tires they just put on now after paying 1515.15 they wants me to give them 500.00 more to fix there mistake
I have 2012 Buick LaCrosse and it should not ride or sound like it does the sound and nose drives me crazy cant even hear radio
We had bad snow storm I thought it was the bad road and snow in my tire but NOT the manger knew exactly what was wrong when I went in didnt even look at it I went in and he hands me a new bill for tires
